Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how to cancel an order, course enrolment, or booking made with Altitude Skills Academy, and what happens once you do. It works alongside our Refund Policy, which covers what you're entitled to get back.

1. Shop Orders (Books & E-Books)

You may cancel a physical book order any time before it has been dispatched by emailing us your order number — we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Once an order has shipped, cancellation is handled as a return under our Refund Policy. E-book orders cannot be cancelled once the download link has been issued, as access is granted immediately on payment.

2. Assessments

An assessment purchase can be cancelled for a full refund only if you have not yet started it. Once you have begun answering questions, the purchase is considered used and cannot be cancelled.

3. Courses & Training Programmes

To cancel or reschedule a course enrolment, email or call us with your booking reference. Refund/credit eligibility depends on how close to the start date you cancel — see our Refund Policy for the exact timelines.

4. School & Organisation Bookings

For bookings made through our booking form (school visits, staff training, consulting sessions), please cancel or reschedule in writing at least 14 days before the scheduled date wherever possible. Cancellations made closer to the date may already have incurred preparation or travel costs on our side — where that's the case, we'll let you know what portion of your booking fee, if any, is non-refundable before you confirm the cancellation.

5. Events

Cancellation terms for a specific event will be communicated to you at the time you register for it, alongside the event details.

6. How to Cancel

Email altitudeskills@gmail.com or call +27 84 626 7389 with your order, booking, or account details. We'll confirm your cancellation in writing.

7. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

If we need to cancel or postpone a course, event, or booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g. severe weather, load shedding, illness), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund or the next available session at no extra cost.
