These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Altitude Skills Academy website (altitudeskillsacademy.com) and the purchase of any course, assessment, book, or service through it. By using our website or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. Who We Are

Altitude Skills Academy (Reg. No. 2022/483858/07) is a South African education and training business operating from 92 Alcade Road, Lynnwood Glen, Pretoria, South Africa, with an additional office at 33933A Walnut Blvd, Brentwood, CA, USA. We provide brain-based training courses, online assessments, published books, and consulting/booking services for educators, students, parents, and organisations.

Purchasing an assessment or accessing your order history requires a registered account. You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. If you are under 18, you may only register and use our services with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by PayFast, a registered South African payment service provider. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices may change at any time, but changes will never affect an order you have already paid for.

5. Assessments

Each assessment purchase unlocks a single attempt for your account. Assessment results are provided for educational and personal-development purposes only and do not constitute a medical, psychological, or professional diagnosis. Access is personal to your account and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.

6. Courses, Bookings & Events

Course enrolments, bookings, and event registrations are confirmed once payment (where required) has been received or a booking has been formally accepted by us. Availability is not guaranteed until confirmed. See our Cancellation Policy for how to change or cancel a booking.

7. Shop, Delivery & Refunds

Physical books are shipped to the delivery address you provide; shipping fees are shown at checkout before you pay. E-books are delivered as a secure, time-limited download link once payment is confirmed. See our Refund Policy for full detail on returns and refunds.

8. Intellectual Property

All course content, assessment questions and materials, books, brochures, and branding published on this website are the intellectual property of Altitude Skills Academy and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account or system, or use our services for any unlawful purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our courses, assessments, and materials are provided for educational purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Altitude Skills Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
